We're seeking a Registered Care Home Manager to lead a specialist service in Tameside, where clinical excellence meets compassionate leadership. Your Impact:
Lead with clinical expertise: Oversee high-quality nursing care for adults with complex conditions (e.g., brain injuries, Huntington's, dementia), ensuring CQC-outstanding standards and robust clinical governance.
Inspire your team: Mentor a dedicated clinical team (including Nurses and HCAs) with higher-than-average staffing ratios, fostering a culture of learning, safety, and person-centred care.
Drive business success: Balance commercial acumen with compassion-manage occupancy, referrals, and budgets while building relationships with NHS Trusts and local authorities.
Champion innovation: Implement quality improvements, audit systems, and tailored care plans that align with Exemplar's mission to "make every day better."
Be the face of excellence: Represent the home externally, ensuring an exceptional reputation with regulators, families, and commissioners.
Your Experience:
Valid NMC PIN (Registered Nurse) or equivalent senior management experience in complex care settings.
3+ years as a Registered Manager in adult social care, with proven success in CQC compliance and clinical leadership. (Preferred)
Commercial savvy: Skilled in financial management, occupancy growth, and multi-agency collaboration.
Heart-led leadership: A role model who embodies fun, integrity, and teamwork-able to motivate staff and create a positive, inclusive environment.
Deep regulatory knowledge: Expertise in the Health and Social Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and safeguarding frameworks.
