Must have been enrolled or be actively enrolled in college classes working towards an Associate's degree in a related field. Highly skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel. Excellent and accurate verbal/written communication skills. Additional Educational Requirements: Completion of an Associate's Degree must be obtained within 1 year following the date of hire. Preferred Qualifications Associate's Degree in Office Administration, Medical Office Administration, Business Administration, or related field from a regionally accredited institution. Experience with a student of business information system and Share Point / Office 365. Experience with Microsoft Excel formulas, functions, and data visualization features. Demonstrated experience in problem solving and executing complex projects. Experience in a general clerical experience including work requiring extensive attention to detail and accuracy. Experience in a customer service environment. Essential Duties Complete paperwork (letters, memos, travel expense reports, order requisitions, etc.) Maintain electronic files of division documents through SharePoint, as directed. Assist other divisions/ departments when workload permits. Assist full-time/adjunct faculty with required paperwork and/or tasks. (10% reports, grades, financial aid, rosters, and SharePoint) Assist with and participate in the planning of division functions and events. Serve as the initial point of contact for customer service for the division. Assist the Academic Dean with budgetary supply needs for the division. Create, track, and store purchases per E-Procurement. Operate and assist with maintaining office and minor classroom equipment. Serve on appropriate college committees as assigned Maintain all inter-campus deliveries of items (books, mail, etc.) for the division. Maintain divisional inventory for office, classroom and laboratory spaces. Provide relief at the switchboard. Fulfill other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor. Participate in professional development activities designed to enhance job skills and knowledge, as agreed upon by the employee and supervisor. Interact with students, the public, the community, and co-workers in a cooperative, courteous and professional manner. Comply with the college's policies and procedures.
