We are delighted to share a rare opportunity that has arisen for a Buying Manager on Adult and Mixers as a Job-share (3 days) on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract. The Adult and Mixers Buying Manager is responsible for the strategic and operational buying responsibilities across two strategically important parts of the Soft Drinks and Impulse categories. This includes leading innovation initiatives, developing own label propositions, managing digital and in-store execution strategies, and collaborating cross-functionally to bring to life the “Perfect Serve” and “Social Drinks” customer experience across channels. Category Buying Leadership: Take full ownership of buying responsibilities across the adult and mixers categories, ensuring delivery of full commercial KPIS which includes full supplier engagement and leading customer-focused decisions. Perfect Serve Strategy Development: Define and deliver a comprehensive "Perfect Serve" plan across BWS and Soft Drinks. This includes range strategy, trade execution, and in-aisle merchandising aligned with customer missions. Social Drinks Zone Execution: Lead the definition and implementation of the Social Drinks Zone within the soft drinks aisle, including a digital solution and the standalone “Perfect Serve” module that integrates spirits and mixers. Deliver execution plans ahead of wider rollout. Media & Trade Marketing: Lead the Social Drinks media plan in partnership with the Digital Hub, BWS team, and soft drinks suppliers to ensure seamless execution of the proposition across all touchpoints. Digital Proposition & E-Commerce: Develop and manage a new online drinks menu microsite. Build and deliver a supporting trade plan to drive digital engagement, visibility, and conversion.
