We are seeking a Construction Buyer with strong bookkeeping and financial administration skills to join our growing team. This dual-function role is ideal for someone who can manage procurement efficiently while supporting accurate financial record-keeping.
About the Role
You will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials and services for construction and fit-out projects, while also assisting with bookkeeping tasks to ensure the smooth financial operation of the business.
Key Responsibilities
1. Source, negotiate, and purchase materials, plant, and subcontract services.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
3. Manage purchase orders, delivery schedules, and cost tracking.
4. Maintain accurate records of supplier invoices and payments.
5. Support bookkeeping activities including data entry, reconciliations, and expense management.
6. Work closely with project managers to ensure budgets and procurement align.
7. Assist with preparation of financial reports as required.
