Role Overview
We are seeking an Engineering Lead to drive the development of a new white-label booking product, considered the business’s core E-commerce offering. Reporting directly into the Head of Engineering, this role combines hands-on engineering, technical leadership, and people management. You will lead a team of full-stack engineers while remaining actively involved in architecture and development, ensuring the booking platform is scalable, flexible, and delivers a seamless customer experience worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a team of full-stack engineers focused on delivering the white-label booking product.
* Maintain a balance between hands-on coding, technical oversight, and people management.
* Own the technical roadmap and architecture for the booking platform as the central E-commerce product.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product requirements with technical solutions.
* Drive innovation to ensure the product delivers best-in-class booking and shopping experiences.
* Maintain strong engineering practices, including code reviews, testing, and deployment.
* Ensure delivery is timely, scalable, and customer-centric.
Required Skills/Experience
* Strong leadership experience managing full-stack engineering teams.
* Technical expertise across React, TypeScript, Node.js, and PHP (with Azure infrastructure).
* Proven experience in building and scaling e-commerce, booking, or B2C SaaS products.
* Strong problem-solving and architectural design capabilities.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
