Leigh Academy Minster is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant Apprentice to join our welcoming and supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain invaluable, hands-on experience, develop essential skills, and build a solid foundation for a rewarding career in education.
Responsibilities
* Support pupil learning and wellbeing under supervision.
* Assist teaching staff in the classroom and contribute to a positive learning environment.
* Support overall classroom management and student welfare as required by the teaching team.

Apprenticeship Summary
* Working weeks: Monday - Friday during school term time + 1 week inset
* Total hours per week: 37 hours (including 20% training element of the Apprenticeship Programme)
* Apprenticeship duration: Approximately 18 months + End Point Assessment (EPA)
* Programme delivery type: All modules are delivered online and can be completed at your place of work
* Start date: September 2025
* Apprenticeship level: Advanced Level Apprenticeship (Level 3)
* Apprenticeship standard: Teaching Assistant
* Essential entry qualifications: 5 GCSEs at Grade C/4 or equivalent, including Mathematics and English
* Salary: Actual salary of £13,934 per annum (£16,200 full-time equivalent) based on 37 hours per week, Term Time + 1 week inset
