Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Community Care Worker to join our team. As a Community Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and assistance to individuals in need within the community, supervising and mentoring clients to ensure their well‑being and promote independence.
Responsibilities
* Provide direct care and support to clients in their homes or community settings.
* Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Administer medications according to prescribed schedules.
* Monitor and record clients' vital signs and report changes or concerns.
* Assist with meal planning and preparation, ensuring dietary needs are met.
* Use appropriate moving and positioning techniques tailored to client needs.
* Provide emotional support and companionship to foster a positive environment.
Qualifications
* Valid driver’s licence and access to own vehicle.
* Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
* Flexibility in schedule to accommodate client needs.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
