Solidworks Contract Mechanical Design Engineer - Plastic Injection Moulding
* Belfast (Hybrid)
* Up to £47 per hour, outside IR35
* 6 month contract (likely extension)
We're recruiting for a Contract Mechanical Design Engineer with Solidworks experience to support an established electronics manufacturer in Belfast.
This is a great opportunity to join a busy product development team working on high volume electronic products, with a strong focus on plastic injection moulded components and associated mechanical design.
You'll be working on a mix of 2D and 3D SolidWorks design work, supporting active development projects and helping to refine and update existing product designs.
What You'll Be Doing
* Producing and updating Solidworks 2D engineering drawings
* Carrying out Solidworks 3D CAD modelling and design refinements
* Supporting the design and development of plastic injection moulded components
* Working closely with a small engineering team on live product development projects
* Contributing to the design of products used to house electronic PCB assemblies

1. Strong experience using SolidWorks
