Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our FOH team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensuring a memorable dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Previous experience in a restaurant setting is advantageous, but a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are equally valued. Duties
* Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
* Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted
* Serve meals and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
* Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
* Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times
* Clear tables efficiently and maintain cleanliness of the dining area
* Provide attentive guest services, addressing any concerns or special requests promptly
* Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure seamless service delivery
* Manage multiple tables effectively through excellent time management skills
Requirements
* Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are key
* Knowledge of food safety regulations
* Strong guest service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
* Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently
* Basic maths skills for handling bills and payments accurately
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent communication skills and team spirit
* Great wine and cocktail knowledge is preferable but can also be taught/improved on the job
