The Opportunity
As the in-branch Mortgage Advisor, you will:
* Receive 8–10 new first appointments per week through in-branch referrals and digital enquiries.
* Have unlimited access to existing clients, allowing you to provide remortgage and protection reviews.
* Offer whole-of-market mortgage and protection advice, ensuring clients receive tailored solutions.
* Work alongside a motivated team of negotiators who consistently generate high-quality leads.
* Bank an average case size of £2,500 (including broker fees, proc fees, and protection).
This is a client-facing, relationship-driven role where you’ll be supported to maximise your business levels while providing compliant, high-quality advice.
Key Responsibilities – Mortgage Advisor / Mortgage Broker
* Provide regulated mortgage and protection advice to new and existing clients.
* Conduct client reviews to assess mortgage, remortgage, and protection requirements.
* Build strong relationships with clients and introducers to generate repeat and referral business.
* Manage your own pipeline of applications and ensure cases are processed efficiently.
* Work with lenders, solicitors, and colleagues to ensure smooth completions.
* Deliver excellent customer service while meeting business and compliance standards.
Candidate Requirements
We are looking for a motivated and professional Mortgage Advisor / Mortgage Broker with the following:
* CeMAP qualification (or equivalent) – CeMAP 1, CF6, or MAQ.
* Previous experience in mortgage and protection sales.
* Backgrounds from tied, independent, or banking environments will be considered.
* CAS status desirable but not essential for strong performers.
* Strong communication skills, client-first approach, and a proactive attitude.
* A clean credit history and no unspent criminal convictions (FCA requirement).
