We’re on the lookout for a caring, reliable Classroom Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in North Tyneside. Whether it’s helping the whole class stay on track or offering gentle 1:1 support, your calm presence and positive energy will help pupils feel seen, supported, and ready to learn.

What you’ll be doing:
* Supporting children across the classroom in a flexible, responsive way
* Assisting the teacher with learning tasks, routines, and transitions
* Offering tailored 1:1 or small group support when needed
* Helping make each day smoother, calmer, and a little more joyful

What we’re looking for:
* Experience working with children (school, nursery, youth work, or similar)
* A calm, friendly approach and great communication skills
* Flexibility and a genuine interest in supporting learning
* Bonus if you’ve supported children with SEND before—but not essential!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
