A Data Collector is a person thatreports sport datafrom gamesdirectlyfromthe venue or in our offices, for example: a goal or a foul insoccer or a basket in basketball.The collected information depends on the sport covered and the role of the Data Collector.
To become aDataCollector,youmust be based in the locationyouare applying for asyou wouldwork directly at the venueor in our officesin that country.

The payment scheme is based on performance and experience: the number of Experience Pointswill increase as the Data Collector spends more time with the company,and when the Data Collector performs well ensuring high quality of data. The more Experience Points the Data Collector accumulates, the higher the payment will be for each game covered.Ticketsexpenses are reimbursed, as are travel costs,according tothe length of the journey and method of transport.Payment is madeon a monthly basis.

Additionally, eachnew DataCollectoris given thorough training bytheOperations Training Team.Prior to becoming a DataCollector,you willneed tosuccessfullycompletedetailedtrainingwhichwill be comprised of a combination of self-learning videos, guides and quizzes, along with instructor-led training and a final test.This process maytake an average of 20hours, depending on the role.

WHAT'S THIS ROLE ABOUT?
You will collect and deliver performance Rugby League data collection in real time for one of the world's leading sport's data and technology companies.
Here's your role broken down (not all of it, just the most important stuff):
* Arriving at the stadium one hour before kick-off to collect team sheets from the media manager.
* Informing the office of any changes to the line ups.
* Monitoring team official sources to assure data accuracy
* Collecting live scoring data during the match from inside the stadium.
* Communicate key events with staff in the office.
Do you have these essentials?:
* Knowledge of international and domestic players and teams.
* Sound IT Skills and an aptitude to learn how to use new software packages (Teams, Outlook, etc.) .
* Ability to concentrate for long periods and pay attention to details.
* Flexibility to work on weekends and in the evening.
* Strong Communication skills, able to speak to Club Media managers/Employees to communicate their requirements or asking for assistance or direction when in the stadium
