Portfolio Payroll is partnering with a well:established organisation within the education sector to recruit a Payroll and Pensions Administrator to join their Finance team.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a collaborative environment where youll play a key role in delivering an accurate and efficient payroll and pensions service across a large and diverse workforce.
The successful candidate will support the delivery of payroll operations, ensuring all payments and pension processes are handled accurately, on time, and in full compliance with statutory legislation and internal procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Administration
Ensure accurate and timely processing of salaries, expenses, and other payments.
Administer statutory payments and deductions including PAYE, NI, SSP, and SMP.
Process starters, leavers, contract amendments, and additional hours claims.
Maintain and update payroll and HR systems, ensuring all changes are recorded correctly.
Monitor fixed:term contracts and ensure appropriate actions and communications are completed.
Pensions Administration
Support the administration of occupational pension schemes, ensuring compliance with legislation.
Assist with auto:enrolment processes and pension:related updates.
Respond to pension queries and provide accurate guidance where required.
