The Construction Supervisor will coordinate operations, manage direct labor and subcontractors, and uphold safety standards and protocols. Success involves ensuring contract compliance, meeting KPIs and internal targets, and delivering excellent service within budget. Responsibilities include:
* Organizing jobs for the operations team, reviewing diaries, material needs, and operational aspects daily.
* Maintaining health and safety standards, conducting audits, reporting incidents, and delivering toolbox talks.
* Serving as the main contact for senior managers and administrative staff regarding service delivery.
* Communicating daily with operational planners for effective work planning and instruction allocation.
* Managing subcontractor relations and performance to meet quality standards.
* Monitoring job progress, reporting at daily huddles, and managing variations or extensions promptly.
* Investigating rejected jobs and providing explanations.
* Ensuring correct coding of work instructions and values before job completion.
* Attending meetings with accurate reporting and information updates.
* Providing leadership, driving accountability, and ensuring process adherence within teams.
* Conducting pre- and post-inspection surveys to verify measurements and work applications.
* Liaising with client maintenance officers regarding queries or amendments.
* Updating systems with job information for admin and QS teams.
* Training and supporting direct labor and subcontractor staff, including onboarding new staff.
* Adhering to company policies and procedures.
* Performing other duties necessary for successful work delivery.
