The Opportunity

At Delta Mortgages, we believe that the best service comes from a team that is knowledgeable,

empowered, and engaged. As a Mortgage Administrator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the

smooth and efficient processing of mortgage applications. You will be the backbone of our mortgage

advisory team, providing crucial administrative support and ensuring a seamless experience for our

clients.

You’ll be responsible for:

* Mortgage Administration – Support both employed and self-employed Mortgage Advisers with processing mortgage cases from initial enquiry to completion.
* Stakeholder Communication – Regularly updating internal and external stakeholders regarding the progress of mortgage cases.
* Record Keeping – Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in company systems for audit and compliance purposes.
* General Administration – Assist with general office administration as the business needs require.

Position: Full-time and permanent.

Work Hours: Standard hours are 8:30-5:00 (with an hour of ‘you time’ for lunch), but let’s be real—

About You

We’re looking for someone who has:

Experience

* Previous administrative experience is desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided.
* Experience in the financial services or mortgage sector would be an advantage.
* A strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients and stakeholders.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills—able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively with a keen eye for detail.
* Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial services software.

Other Important Bits*

All functions in this role must comply with the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 and the

relevant FCA rules at all times and adhere to laid-down operating procedures and to the set service

level standards for both internal and external clients. Ensuring that company systems and databases

are kept up to date for audit purposes.
