Job Summary
Family Circle Homes Ltd, is a children's care home dedicated to providing 24-hour care to a maximum of six male/female children and young individuals aged 11 to 17 years old, who have complex social and emotional needs including children with learning disability and autism. Our commitment is to foster the well-being and development of the children and young individuals entrusted to our care, and we hold ourselves to the highest standards of care provision.
Our approach centres around an individualised care model, working with children and young people who become actively engaged in our comprehensive care program.
We are seeking a compassionate Support Worker to provide care and assistance to individuals in need.
*Key Responsibilities:
1. *Supporting the Home Manager*: Assist the Home Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the children's home.
2. *Childcare and Support*: Provide high-quality care and support to children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and educational needs are met.
3. *Staff Management*: Supervise and support staff members, promoting a positive and inclusive team culture.
4. *Safeguarding and Compliance*: Ensure the home is compliant with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures, maintaining a safe and secure environment.
5. *Budgeting and Administration*: Assist with budgeting, financial management, and administrative tasks.
*Essential Skills and Qualifications:*
1. *Relevant Qualifications*: QCF Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent.
2. *Experience*: Previous experience working in a children's home or similar setting.
3. *Leadership and Management*: Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and support staff.
4. *Communication and Interpersonal*: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, staff, and external professionals.
5. *Problem-Solving and Adaptability*: Ability to think critically, solve problems, and adapt to changing situations.
*Desirable Skills and Qualifications:*
1. *Higher-Level Qualifications*: QCF Level 4 or higher in Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent.
2. *Specialist Training*: Training in areas such as safeguarding, first aid, or therapeutic interventions.
3. *Experience with Specific Needs*: Experience working with children with specific needs, such as autism or physical disabilities.

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
