We have an excellent opportunity for a Station Team Leader at Hull train station. In times of train service disruption, you'll show strong leadership and ownership, taking the situation under control. You'll need to be skilled at making logical decisions and influencing others in order to minimise the impact on our customers and ensuring they feel well informed. You will need to co-ordinate train sets during planned and unplanned disruption to services. For example, liaising with control and signaller to arrange set swaps and shunt moves. You will also help to provide information, support and assistance to train crew, post notices, rosters and Traincrew communications for Traincrew as well as co-ordinate and liaise with train crews and controls regarding altered workings, during planned and unplanned disruption. As part of your role you will also monitor and operate the CIS and PA system equipment for the area, as well as monitor and operate the CCTV equipment for the area. This will include supplying CCTV images to relevant parties where required. You will also be required to use computerised timetable and train running information systems e.g. CIS, TRUST, RJIS, P2, PIDS to benefit the business and customers where required. You will also play a part in ensuring Hull Station is kept clean and presentable to meet TPE standards and as directed by the Station management team. You will also need to retain good working knowledge of the station environment, as well as maintaining good working relationships with other TOC's and stakeholders. You must be comfortable working a varied shift pattern (Including Nights), and are able to get to the station within a reasonable commuting time. Within your varied roster is a period of night shifts, these shifts are focused on the maintenance, fuelling and the correct set up of the station. You will liaisewith the local maintenance depot and relevant TOC's to organise what units needs maintenance or fuelling. You will instruct a dedicated train driver with shunts and fuel moves that will help you set up the station correctly for the morning departures.
