Working hours: Monday : Friday, 9 am : 5 pm.
Responsibility
What will you be responsible for:
As a Disability and Mental Health Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring students receive comprehensive and tailored support.
Specifically the activities will be:
* Providing vital administrative support to students.
* Managing and responding to student queries with efficiency and empathy.
* Developing and implementing robust support plans for students with Specific Learning Differences (SpLD), mental health needs, and autism.
* Collaborating closely with students to address their unique requirements.
* Maintaining meticulous records and documentation.
* Liaising effectively with various university departments and external organizations.
* Contributing to the ongoing enhancement of student support services.
* Engaging in continuous professional development and relevant training.
Experience
2+years of experience as a disability Advisor
What requirements are we looking for?
We are looking for individuals with a proven track record in supporting vulnerable students.
* A minimum of 2 years of experience in supporting students or individuals with disabilities and/or mental health challenges.
* Previous experience working with SpLD, mental health, and autism is highly advantageous.
* Immediate availability to commence employment.
