Role: Teacher of Food Technology
Location: Canterbury
Start Date: September 2026 - full time
Salary: £32,916 - £51,047 depending on experience and payscale - PAYE

Tradewind Recruitment are actively seeking enthusiastic Food Technology teachers to work in a range of secondary schools in the Canterbury area. The roles will be full time starting in September 2026!
The role:
* Plan and deliver both practical and theory based Food Technology lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
* Inspire and educate students through hands on cooking experiences, creative projects and engaging lessons
* Attend parents evenings and Departmental meetings after school where required
Requirements:
* Hold QTS status, equivalent teaching qualification or have relevant teaching experience
* Have strong subject knowledge of the Food Technology curriculum across KS3 and KS4
* Experience of teaching Food Technology in a secondary school setting is essential
* Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
* CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
* Legal right to work in the UK
