Paralegal/ Litigation Executive - Personal Injury Motor - Leeds
Our Motor team is growing, and we are seeking experienced Litigation Executives to join our Leeds office to support our expansion!
What will you be doing?
This is a great opportunity for a Litigation Executive looking to build on their experience, as you will be managing a litigated caseload of small claims involving liability and vehicle damage claims.
You will assist other Litigation Executives and Claims Handlers as needed, handling an average of 100 files. Previous litigation experience, particularly with defendant cases, is highly desirable.
Your responsibilities will include drafting documents, applications, offers, orders, and directions; attending telephone conferences; managing cases in line with SLAs; reviewing quantum; valuing damages; formalizing case plans; and conducting negotiations with third parties, insurers, and clients.
This is what the Hiring Manager, Raheema, says about the role:
"The Motor volume area is a fast-paced, high-volume department dealing with a range of cases. You will work alongside a friendly and approachable team willing to share their knowledge to help you succeed, offering opportunities for progression. This role is ideal for someone with enthusiasm and a positive attitude, eager to be part of a dynamic team and a forward-thinking firm."
What do I need?
The ideal candidate will have experience handling litigated claims, preferably in defendant cases. Familiarity with the CPR, SRA Code of Conduct, and motor insurance knowledge is a plus.
You should bring an enthusiastic, self-motivated attitude, a desire to achieve targets, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Initiative and creative problem-solving skills are desirable.
We value a strong work ethic and team spirit. We are a close-knit, stable team that shares ideas and experiences to achieve the best results for our clients.
