Overview
The Crisis Care Centre is part of North Staffordshire’s urgent care pathway, offering all‑age single point mental health access and a 24/7 crisis response, including intensive home treatment as an alternative to inpatient admission. The Deputy Operational Manager will support Operational Managers to ensure safe, effective and efficient day‑to‑day service delivery, supervising staff, managing resources, and maintaining high standards of care.
Responsibilities
* Deputise for Operational Managers when required.
* Support performance monitoring, workforce coordination and patient flow.
* Manage service resources, budget, performance and staff teams.
* Collaborate with clinicians, other providers, commissioners and key stakeholders to develop and maintain service quality.
* Ensure the service meets commissioning and Trust policies and procedures.
Qualifications
* Experienced mental health or operational practitioner.
* Strong understanding of clinical governance, service delivery and quality improvement.
* Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to support staff, manage competing priorities and maintain high standards of care in a busy crisis service.
