Job Opportunity: Learning Support Assistant (Full-Time, Temporary Ongoing)
Location: Greater Manchester College
Rate: 16 - 18 per hour PAYE 36 hours per week
Eden Brown are looking to recruit a learning support assistant on behalf of a leading Further Education College in Greater Manchester. This is a full-time temporary role to start immediately for at least 2 months with the possibility of extension.
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to provide tailored support to adult learners in a further education setting. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with learners, helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver one-to-one and small group support tailored to individual learner needs
* Assist learners with diverse educational and emotional needs
* Support classroom teaching staff in creating an inclusive learning environment
* Help learners develop study skills, confidence, and independence
* Monitor and record learner progress and provide feedback to the team
What We\re Looking For
* Experience supporting adult learners in an educational setting
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Flexibility and adaptability to meet diverse learner needs
A current DBS is also needed for this role.
