The purpose of this role is to be a subject matter expert in Microsoft Licensing, to support Phoenix EA customers and Phoenix Sales teams, specifically:
* Provide expert knowledge & advice to Public Sector Sales, specific to Microsoft licensing;
* Assist Sales with net new agreements / renewals process for Enterprise Agreements (EA, EAS, SCE);
* Management and timely response of Microsoft licensing queries to the licensing team alias;
* Provide support to team members, i.e. peer reviewing cost models;
* Host Microsoft Licensing webinars to customers/Sales teams when required;
* Cost projection preparation for Enterprise Agreements;
* Cost projection preparation for Microsoft Enterprise bids and tenders; and
* Prepare rebate calculations for Enterprise Agreements.
The main responsibilities are:
* Ensure that customer satisfaction for Licensing advice is at a high level;
* Attend customer Review Meetings, deliver Welcome Workshops, and Tender Presentations where necessary (in-person and remote);
* Assist our customers with accurate advice & best practices around renewals & anniversaries;
* Be a subject matter expert, able to understand and articulate complex licensing models;
* Follow T-12 Cloud Engagement Plan licensing milestones with aligned EA customers;
* Handle all issues in escalation, managing them effectively to the company’s and customers’ satisfaction;
* Support objectives as defined in the company’s information security policy; and
* Perform your tasks in support of data and information security.
* Be approachable and willing to assist Sales especially during busy periods;
* Able to thrive in a team environment and also complete individual tasks;
* Have initiative to be resourceful to research solutions;
* Be able to hold relationships with Microsoft Business Managers where we require them;
* Have a flexible approach to the working day that will include working from home, nights away from home, travel to attend
* client sites and travelling outside of office hours where necessary;
* Able to prioritise work under pressure and use initiative to ensure that deadlines are met.
* Ensure that all company procedures and processes are followed; and
* Any other reasonable request.
Experience:
* Experience in a software licensing sales capacity;
* Excellent all-round knowledge of commercials, and experience of interacting with sales teams;
* Good knowledge of Microsoft licensing and contracts, good practices etc and an understanding of Microsoft public sector licensing frameworks;
* Understand License Entitlements and Transitions as updated in the Product Terms; and
* Have a good understanding of alternative licensing agreements (i.e. CSP) and where these might be appropriate.
