The Team Regulatory & Legal Services We help organizations in their efforts to achieve regulatory and legal compliance and transform their departments to add greater value to the business. We combine highly specialized skills in discovery and data management, corporate investigations, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and anti-fraud with financial acumen and advanced analytics to produce transformative insights. Deloitte Discovery’s eDiscovery professionals provide end to end EDRM solution and help clients prepare for production and review of sensitive data. We help clients with culling of enormous data, process and provide structure to it. This helps client review the information and identify electronic data that suits their case presentation. Our teams guide clients throughout the Operations lifecycle, both serving as a delivery team while providing tactical solutions in identifying data specific problems, relevant data sets that needs to go through culling and processing. This works as a cost-effective solution as client is aware of data that can be expected to be reviewed and produced to court. Our team’s capabilities on data remediation, unique processes devised to suit project need and strategic solutions based on SQL, data quality control and data investigation are considered most significant and important in EDRM cycle by our clients. Within US India, Deloitte Discovery is comprised of the following services: Computer Forensics Document Review Services Electronic Discovery Work you’ll do The key job responsibilities will be to: Work on validating the regular upgrade and patching cycles on e-discovery tools by performing Smoke/Functional/Regression testing’s Meeting set quality parameters for each test case during the testing while adding on any essential new cases to existing validation scenarios. Plan, Execute & Report POC’s on different emerging tools/platforms in e-discovery market space. Comply with quality and communication standards. Meet set Deadline for the task. Apply technical and analytical skills to solve issues Support multiple internal teams like Processing & Hosting, Project Management, Release Management, Computer Forensics and Engineering teams with any investigation requests on eDiscovery platforms, application and workflows. Performing proper quality checks at various stages of the POC/Testing and informing leads/manager with any issue noticed pertaining to platform. Coordinate with Engineering team to fix the issues observed during the POC/Testing’s. Identify process improvement areas in the practice and come up with innovative ideas to reduce manual task or change the approach to achieve faster results Participate and contribute to firm/practice level activities. Identify process gaps, update Run Book procedures and educate the team on the changes Coordinate with Tech Support team to keep appraised of any infrastructure issues or changes Required Skills 3-5 years of hands-on experience with E-discovery data processing, hosting and review platforms. Strong understanding of overall EDRM framework and standards. Working knowledge of eDiscovery and computer forensic project life cycle An understanding of data collection & preservation principles Working knowledge of Forensic Imaging (Encase, FTK, DD, SMART, Helix, F-response etc), Extraction (Encase/FTK/Aid4mail/email examiner/email conversion software) and Analysis (Encase/FTK/Registry analysis tools/Log Analyzers) Expert level experience with E-discovery tools such as eCapture, Relativity, NUIX, Blackout or other enterprise tools. Knowledge on Reveal is an added advantage. Ability to plan and execute POC by coordinating with Vendors and internal stakeholders Strong communication and Email writing skills and handle regular meetings with leadership Experience on creating reports on POC’s and Testing’s performed for leadership. Technical reporting writing skills are an added advantage Adaptable to work on multiple processing (Ipro e-capture, NUIX, Relativity) and Hosting & Review (Relativity, Relativity One, Blackout) technologies/tools. Experience on all the below mentioned phases in an eDiscovery project life cycle: Processing: Extract metadata and prepare data for final export by performing concept searching, filtering and other analytics using enterprise class systems which use distributed architecture. Hosting: Online hosting of processed data where in the metadata, corresponding files are linked and prepare the platform for performing advanced searching/tagging of documents hosted. Imaging: Conversion of native edocs to read-only tiff or PDF formats with the necessary opticon files Review: Creation of Batches and performing tagging, Redaction, and coding operations Flexible to work in prescribed shifts per business need. (Morning, Evening, and Weekend) Ability to investigate and resolve data/platform related issues. Preferred experience in data remediation and metadata analysis. Ability to perform troubleshooting, research and learn on new platforms emerging in e-discovery market space. Hands-on experience with both traditional (Term and Boolean) as well as Concept-based search tools and technologies. Preferred Skills Understanding of AI in document Review space viz, features like Natural Language Processing, Sentimental Analysis, Data modelling etc., Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications – specifically advanced Power Point knowledge. Understanding of file system, file types, encodings, Text Editor Regular expressions, Microsoft O365 environment etc. Analytical and interpersonal skills. Experience in providing Demo sessions to the leadership/ team on eDiscovery tools Ability to write scripts and develop small tool to automate manual operations (Basic experience with SQL, Windows PowerShell, SQL, Visual Basic/VBSCRIPT, SAS, MS-Access, C++/.Net/ Perl/Python/Java, ASP, DOS, UNIX, and Linux). Knowledge of all the backend databases (SQL) of processing and review platforms used and display ability to write basic queries and reconcile results in case of discrepancies.
