Join Our Team as an Adult Support and Care Worker
We are hiring enthusiastic, motivated adult support and care workers who care enough to make a difference within the adult social care sector. Please note, you will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check with Fulbridge Social Care and successfully pass one of our induction assessments before any placements are offered.
You will work with individuals placed into care settings for various reasons, with a range of disorders, behaviors, and needs. Therefore, we seek individuals who have the confidence, patience, and skills to work successfully with these individuals and positively impact their lives. Your role will involve supporting service users throughout the day with tasks such as meal preparation, personal care, cleaning, and shopping.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
1. Build strong professional relationships with service users and team members.
2. Maintain a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for service users and staff.
3. Keep up to date with all communication and information systems.
4. Attend and actively participate in meetings.
5. Protect service users from abuse by staff, visitors, or other service users.
6. Write accurate reports for reviews and maintain records for monitoring purposes.
7. Attend work reliably and punctually, following a set shift pattern.
8. Stay updated with all procedures and policy changes.
9. Ensure health and safety of yourself and others.
10. Undertake any additional duties relevant to the role.
