Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Housekeeping Checker to join our friendly team at one of our Darwin Escapes resorts.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining exceptional standards and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in ensuring our accommodation is thoroughly inspected and guest-ready, delivering a spotless and welcoming experience for every arrival.
This is a permanent role. Hours will be 20 per week, including mornings and afternoons.

Housekeeping Checker – Roles & Responsibilities
Accommodation Inspection
• Inspect lodges, caravans, and accommodation units after cleaning to ensure they meet company standards.
• Ensure all areas are clean, tidy, and presented to a high standard before guest arrival.
• Check that all inventory items are present, clean, and in good condition.
Quality Control
• Identify and report any cleaning issues, damages, or maintenance concerns.
• Ensure any issues are addressed promptly before guest check-in.
• Maintain consistency in cleanliness and presentation across all accommodation.
Team Support
• Work closely with the housekeeping team to maintain high standards.
• Assist with cleaning duties during busy periods or changeover days when required.
• Support supervisors in ensuring accommodation is prepared efficiently within set timeframes.
Health & Safety
• Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety procedures.
• Follow company policies when using cleaning products and equipment.
• Maintain a safe and organised working environment at all times.

• Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is desirable
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards
