We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner Programmer to join a well-established precision engineering business based in Ferndown. This is a permanent opportunity for a CNC Turner Programmer who enjoys combining hands-on turning with programming responsibility and working to tight tolerances.
As the CNC Turner Programmer, you will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes using Fanuc controls. The CNC Turner Programmer will work within a skilled team, producing high-spec components while maintaining efficiency, quality, and workflow across day or night shift options.
Key Responsibilities
Program, set, and operate CNC lathes using Fanuc controls
Work with live tooling and multi-axis lathes where required
Inspect and measure components to ensure compliance with engineering drawings
Maintain tight tolerances and high-quality standards
Liaise with quality and production teams to support consistent output
Identify and contribute to process and efficiency improvementsEssential Skills and Experience
Proven experience working as a CNC Turner Programmer
Strong knowledge of Fanuc-controlled CNC lathes
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
High attention to detail with a methodical approach
Reliable and comfortable working independently or as part of a teamShift Options
