Job Description
Key Responsibilities
3. Lead and manage all site production operations
4. Own production performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity
5. Translate site strategy into clear production plans and priorities
6. Lead, coach, and develop supervisors, team leaders, and operators
7. Drive continuous improvement across machining efficiency, flow, labour utilisation, and assembly performance
8. Ensure all quality, process, and compliance standards are followed consistently
9. Partner closely with Engineering and Maintenance to support up time, process capability, and improvement projects
10. Identify and deliver cost reduction and efficiency improvement opportunities
11. Support capital investment and process optimisation initiatives
12. Build strong succession plans, training frameworks, and leadership capability within Operations
The Successful Applicant
Ideal Candidate ProfileYou'll be a confident production leader with a strong grounding in ideally machining and/or assembly environments, comfortable balancing hands-on operational leadership with strategic decision-making.You'll bring:
13. Proven Production or Operations Management experience in a manufacturing environment
14. Experience delivering Lean / CI initiatives (5S, SMED, standard work, waste reduction)
15. Strong people leadership skills with the ability to engage and challenge teams
16. Solid commercial and financial awareness
17. Calm, structured problem-solving approach in fast-paced environments
18. Engineering or manufacturing-related qualifications preferred
