Role Overview: We are seeking a versatile and experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with Carpentry and Plumbing Experience to join our dynamic team. This role involves performing a variety planned and reactive general maintenance tasks, ensuring the highest standards of service for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine and reactive plumbing maintenance tasks, including repairs, installations, and inspections.
* Carry out carpentry tasks such as replacing doors, changing locks, and other general carpentry work.
* Utilise the CAFM System 'BigChange' to manage and document all maintenance activities, and other client based IT systems via a tablet
* Diagnose and repair a variety of maintenance issues, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.
* Conduct inspections and tests to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
* Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
* Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
* Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols at all times.
* Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client concerns and queries promptly.
* Participate in a mandatory on-call rota to provide emergency support.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
* Solid carpentry skills, including the ability to replace doors, change locks, and perform general carpentry tasks.
* Basic plumbing skills, including the ability to fix a leak, replace a tap and perform general plumbing tasks
* Experience in flooring works would be highly desirable but not mandatory to apply
* Proficiency in using the CAFM System BigChange is highly desirable but not mandatory to apply
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Full UK driving license and willingness to travel

Travel, Assets & Further information
This is a mobile maintenance position and therefore whilst we aim to keep each operative as near to home as possible, travel throughout your region is expected up to 2 hours. Further travel may be requested on rare occasions due to absences / emergencies.
On call Rota 1 in 4, Monday – Monday. Bonus + overtime rate.
Assets include: A company vehicle, fuel card, Tablet / PDA for completion of all paperwork, ladders, any testing equipment required, PPE and uniform.
Please note: Operatives must provide their own hand and power tools for the role. Consumables and materials are provided as part of the role.
Salary is offered in the form of an hourly rate, only following successful interview, and is based on qualifications, experience and location.
