A small alternative provision based in Romford with an excellent reputation has vacancies for both part-time and full-time Tutors. Pupils in this setting have been diagnosed with Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) and can display challenging behaviours. They require a strong and confident leader with excellent subject knowledge to engage students in work which will give them empowering skills for their life and career after leaving School.
The Provision:
The successful provision provides at risk pupils aged 14 - 16 with access to education and behavior intervention. Students attend the provision for short term (6 weeks to 1 term) placements during which their progress is carefully tracked and staff work to improve both academic and attitude outcomes. The setup of the classes are small class sizes of a 1-5 ratio children to adult and each class has a Behaviour support Mentor.
