County Enterprise Foods produces ready meals, approximately 2,000 meals a day in a busy central production unit based in Worksop.
An opportunity has arisen for a General Production Assistant to work as part of this team to prepare and pack food items. You will assist in the correct storage and chilling of food in accordance with instructions. Cleaning kitchen equipment, work surfaces, storage facilities, and associated areas as directed is also part of the job. You will need to demonstrate the ability to work under instruction and, at times, independently. This job involves working in cold conditions.
You are expected to have or be willing to undertake basic food hygiene training, and experience in a food production environment is desirable.
On-the-job training will be provided.
Excellent conditions of employment, including holiday pay and a pension scheme.
Uniform and PPE provided; the uniform will be laundered.
37 hours per week: Monday – Thursday 7:30 am - 3:30 pm, Friday 7:30 am - 3:00 pm.
