Trust Housing welcomes you for an exciting permanent role as a Care & Support Worker at West Lodge Gardens, Alloa, Clackmannanshire FK10 2HX, ideal for those living in and around Alloa.
Responsibilities
As a Care & Support Worker, you will support older and vulnerable adults in their own homes. Operating between 7:00 am and 10:00 pm seven days a week, you will provide assistance with daily living tasks based on individual care plans, including administering medication, personal support, and helping with meals. Your empathetic approach will make a real difference to our tenants' lives.
Qualifications
* Experience in the care sector with older people or other vulnerable community members.
* SVQ in Health and Social Care or a relevant qualification.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Basic IT skills.
Previous experience is preferred but not essential; we provide comprehensive training and support.
Remuneration & Working Conditions
Location: West Lodge Gardens, Alloa, Clackmannanshire FK10 2HX
* Hourly Rate: £14.04 per hour
* Availability: Flexible shifts (morning and back shifts) including weekends
* Guaranteed Hours: 18.5 hours per week over an average of 3 days on a rolling 2‑week rota, with a mixture of weekdays and weekends, day shifts and back shifts

Requirements & Conditions
Successful candidates will need to register with the SSSC, complete mandatory training within the required timeframe, and commit to studying for an SVQ in Care & Support if not already holding this qualification. The role is subject to satisfactory interview, references, and a PVG check.
