Salary: £35,000 - 45,000 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for an experienced IT Technician with hands-on experience supporting multi-site environments with 150+ users.
• We would prefer experience in supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing environments.
• We require experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and core infrastructure services.
• We require experience administering Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, users, groups, and permissions.
• We require experience supporting Azure, Entra ID, and Defender environments, including identity, access, and hybrid cloud services.
• We require experience configuring and troubleshooting network infrastructure such as switches, firewalls, TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, VPNs, NAT, DNS, and DHCP.
• We require PowerShell scripting or automation experience.
• We value an interest in AI, automation, innovation, and future IT systems.
• We require experience working in or supporting security-conscious or regulated environments.
• We would prefer familiarity with ISO 27001, TISAX, backup, disaster recovery, patching, monitoring, vulnerability remediation, and system hardening activities.

• We will rely on you to administer, maintain, and improve Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and other core infrastructure services.
• We will expect you to support Microsoft 365 administration, including users, groups, permissions, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.
• We will need you to support Azure, Entra ID, and Defender environments, including identity, access, and hybrid cloud services.
• We will need you to configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, VPNs, NAT, DNS, and DHCP.
• We will expect you to act as an escalation point for infrastructure, network, cloud, and security-related issues.
• We will ask you to produce, maintain, and improve technical documentation, processes, diagrams, asset records, and support procedures.
• We will need you to support IT projects, upgrades, migrations, infrastructure improvements, and wider business systems initiatives.
• We will work with you to support our outsourced MSP in delivering effective 1st and 2nd line service.
• We will expect you to support backup, disaster recovery, patching, monitoring, vulnerability remediation, and system hardening activities.
• We will ask you to assist with IT requirements relating to ISO 27001, TISAX, and other security-conscious or regulated environments.
• We will want you to identify opportunities to improve systems, automate processes, strengthen security, and support innovation across the business.

We are hiring an IT Technician to join our internal IT department in Redditch on a full-time basis, 40 hours per week, with a salary of £35,000 to £45,000 per annum. Reporting to the Head of IT, this is a hands-on technical role that goes beyond standard support, giving you the opportunity to contribute to infrastructure improvements, IT projects, documentation, security and compliance activities, automation, and future technology initiatives. You will work closely with our outsourced MSP, which handles 1st and 2nd line support, while we rely on you as an internal escalation point for infrastructure, networking, cloud, and security matters. We are looking for someone who wants to help us improve our systems and support innovation across the business.
