Administrator Required Barnsley

£12.18 per hour

Ongoing Contract

Working Hours: Mon-Fri 08.30am to 5.00pm

A Basic DBS check is required for this role or willing to obtain one.

The Job Purpose as an Administrator will be working within the Adoption & Fostering Team. They will be required to manage mailboxes and deal with medical/stat checks as well as other admin duties. Minute taker will also be required where Foster carers/Adoptive parents as well as professional parties in attendance, therefore a professional service is required.

Administration Experience and Qualifications Required

* Level 2 NVQ or 3 GCSEs Grade C or above.
* An awareness and understanding of the role of business support team.
* An understanding of what makes excellent customer service.
* Knowledge of good practices for handling confidential data.
* Time management skills including the ability to prioritise individual workload and to adhere to agreed deadlines and targets.
* Interpersonal skills including the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
* Experience of using office software such as Microsoft packages.
* Experience of updating and maintaining records.

The Job Role:

* Dealing with telephone and face-to-face enquiries.
* General filing, storing of information and other office duties.
* Administration duties such as word processing and data input (experience with Excel essential).
* Assist with the completion of returns.
* Carrying out other duties as required by the service.
* Taking minutes in meetings.
