Are you an experienced classroom professional looking for flexible work in September 2025? We are seeking confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to join a supportive high school in Wigan.
The Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-set work to classes in the absence of the regular teacher. You will play a key role in maintaining classroom order, managing student behaviour, and ensuring learning continues in a structured and productive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver pre-planned lessons to students across a range of subjects
* Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
* Support students with their learning and maintain engagement
* Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and classroom events
What We're Looking For:
* Previous classroom experience is essential
* Confidence in managing student behaviour effectively
* A proactive and professional approach to covering lessons
* High levels of reliability and a strong work ethic
* Flexibility to accept assignments that may be at short notice
* An understanding that work is not guaranteed daily, but based on school needs
