Lift Bexleyheath is looking for a SENDCO, an exceptional teacher looking to further their career within Lift Schools. We seek an enthusiastic, committed and child‑focused SENDCO to be the advocate and whole‑school driving force supporting children with identified SEND needs. You will lead and coordinate innovative and evidence‑based provision for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
Our ideal candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status and the desire to enrol and complete relevant SEND CPD and qualifications. You will have experience working with parents to support SEND children and proven ability as an excellent classroom teacher, demonstrating a thorough understanding of statutory regulations in relation to SEND and equality and experience working with multiple external agencies.
You’ll be able to:
* Ensure SEND provision is managed efficiently and effectively.
* Provide professional guidance in the area of SEND to secure high‑quality teaching.
* Monitor progress of objectives and targets for pupils with SEND, evaluate the effectiveness of teaching and learning, and guide improvements.
