Manufacturing operative

Overview

Based in Letchworth, Hertfordshire, Transvend Ltd are the world's leading manufacturer of water heaters for vehicles, and are looking to employ a full time (6 month probation period) manufacturing technician as the business continues to expand.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring that manufacturing operations run smoothly and efficiently. This position requires an understanding of manufacturing processes and the ability to work collaboratively in a manufacturing environment. Training will be provided.

The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience and proficiency in using a variety of hand tools, ideally in manufacturing, or similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Use of a range of tools & parts to produce sub assemblies and products.
• Wiring up & testing circuitry, maintaining high quality standards.
• Quality control & testing of the products using specialist tools to maintain high safety standards.
• Recording data into Transvend's internal database.
• Working to build schedules & collaborating with team members to achieve production targets, ensuring products are dispatched to customers on time.
