Job Summary
I am looking for an individual to join our small friendly team at Burntisland Golf House Club. Primarily a member of the Bar Staff, however we work as a team and that means being flexible within the hospitality side of the business so additional duties can include waitressing, washing dishes, basic food handling, and keeping things clean and tidy. Our members and visitors are at the heart of the service we provide so its therefore mandatory that you come with a smiling face and a pleasant attitude - it really does make a difference. Hours will vary, and cannot be guaranteed due to the seasonal nature of the business. Approximately 8-15 hours, however there is a chance this can be extended when the golf season kicks off in March. Looking for either 1 fully flexible person or 2 people who can help cover busy periods and functions.
MUST be over 18 due to licensing laws.
Duties
* Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and positive attitude.
* Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all requests are met.
* Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring all dishes meet our culinary standards.
* Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining attention to detail.
* Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area and kitchen space.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely food delivery.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a bar or hospitality environment is preferred.
* Previous experience in food preparation preferred but not essential.
* Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing orders accurately.
* Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently
* Ability to work well within a team while also being self-motivated when required.
* Flexibility to work various morning/day shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
