Overview

Vitality Bournemouth, England, United Kingdom. Join our dynamic Sourcing team as a Sourcing Business Partner (Business Services). You’ll own the end-to-end sourcing and supplier strategy for our People function, covering Human Resources and Property/Facilities. This role focuses on delivering value, innovation, and impact through identifying and onboarding the right partners, managing supplier relationships, and optimising spend across key categories to ensure Vitality gets the best from its partnerships.

Team - Sourcing

Working Pattern - Hybrid - 2 days per week in the Vitality Bournemouth Office. Full time, 35 hours per week.

Responsibilities

* Sourcing / Category Management – Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to define category focused sourcing strategies. Meet objectives in terms of assurance of supply, quality, service performance, cost, innovation and regulatory compliance. Identify and deliver value through spend reduction opportunities, supplier consolidation and value adding activities. Utilise market research to identify potential suppliers, define the preferred sourcing solution and manage competitive exercises (RFI/RFP) to meet business and commercial requirements. Negotiate the best deals with short-listed suppliers to achieve value. Draft and implement robust contracts and service schedules to maximise business value. Mitigate risk with supplier onboarding and liaise with Legal as required.
* Supplier Management – Provide effective management of supplier relationships within Vitality’s supplier management framework, managing risk and compliance, driving post-contract value and stakeholder management. Act as an escalation point for supplier issues and support resolution.
* Contract Management – Manage a portfolio of contracts via the Contract Lifecycle Management process. Identify efficiency improvements and cost savings while maintaining required service levels and mitigating risk.


What you need to thrive

* Possess knowledge within one or more sourcing categories
* Proven track record in a sourcing environment with a history of savings delivery
* Experience negotiating with suppliers to deliver value and mitigate contractual risk
* Understanding of contract drafting, service definition, performance and commercial structures
* Proven record of effective category management, implementing sourcing strategy, supplier rationalisation and supplier innovation
* Strong understanding of supplier management, risk analysis, contingency planning, and driving performance initiatives
* Ability to communicate, influence, and network with stakeholders at all levels internally and externally
