As an SEA Senior Electronics Engineer, you will be responsible for the electrical and electronic design and development of our products using state-of-the-art methods, technology, and tools.
Senior Electronics Engineer will be based at our Barnstaple site. This role allows for flexible working. The salary for this role is up to £62k, depending on experience.
What you'll be doing
* Take responsibility for the electrical and electronic engineering delivery of electro-mechanical systems supplied by SEA, adhering to budget, timeline, and quality standards.
* Provide technical support to a small multidisciplinary team of engineers on specific projects.
* Share good practices and knowledge locally to improve practices.
* Mentor and advise other engineers within SEA to support their learning and development.
* Support reviews and approvals of electrical & electronic designs in accordance with standards.
* Contribute to company standards related to electrical and electronic engineering, including calculations, CAD models, manufacturing drawings, schematics, and technical reports.
* Support SEA products throughout manufacturing, assembly, installation, and service life.
* Assist in preparing and submitting bids and proposals, interfacing with customers and suppliers, and generating engineering estimates.
