The Role
The Workforce Planning Manager plays a pivotal role in forecasting, planning, and optimizing staffing requirements to meet business objectives. This role reports to the Head of Workforce Planning and collaborates with the Activity Manager, Hours Allocation Manager, and Salary Allocation Manager to ensure alignment of workforce strategies with operational, budgetary, and activity-based needs.
* Analyze workload trends, seasonality, and business forecasts to project staffing requirements.
* Integrate data inputs from the Activity Manager to reflect actual and planned business activities.
* Design workforce plans that align with operational goals and budgetary constraints, with key partners being the Hours Allocation Manager and Salary Allocation Manager.
* Use data analytics to monitor turnover, productivity, and staffing patterns; provide insights for proactive adjustments.
* Collaborate with the Salary Allocation Manager to forecast staffing costs accurately and identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining operational efficiency.
* Work with HR, Finance, and other stakeholders to align workforce plans with broader organizational goals.
* Balance labour supply and demand in partnership with the Hours Allocation Manager to ensure efficient staffing schedules.
The Person
Proven experience in workforce planning, HR, or operations management. Demonstrated success working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders to achieve business goals. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with expertise in workforce planning tools and data analytics platforms. Effective communication and collaboration abilities. Deep understanding of labor laws and compliance requirements.
