Location: Based across three sites — Armadale, Bathgate and Livingston. Contract: Permanent. Hours: 25.5 hours per week. Shift pattern: Monday – Friday, with shifts between 08:30 – 18:00 and a share in the Saturday 08:30 – 12:00 rota.

The Role
Day-to-day duties of the role will include:
* Answering phones and booking appointments
* Responding to queries via phone, in person and email
* Registering new clients
* Completing insurance forms
* Dispensing medications
* Taking payments
* Providing a warm and welcoming experience to clients arriving at the practice
What We're Looking For In Our Veterinary Receptionist
* Previous receptionist experience is essential; veterinary experience is a plus
* Resilient with the ability to cope with potentially distressing and emotional situations
* Excellent communicator with strong empathy
* Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with members of the public
* Positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database management/operating systems
