Architectural Technologist Permanent - 9am - 5pm Sandbach £30,000 - £35,000 negotiable dependant on experience Our client is a well-established and growing architectural practice based in Cheshire, delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects across the region. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join their team and play a key role in the technical delivery and coordination of projects. Along with a supportive, professional, and collaborative working environment and an opportunity to work on a varied and interesting portfolio of projects.Purpose of the Job As an Architectural Technologist, you will be responsible for the technical development, coordination, and delivery of projects from early design stages through to construction and completion. This is a hands-on position requiring strong technical knowledge, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You will work closely with architects, consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, compliantly, and to a consistently high standard. Key Responsibilities Producing detailed technical drawings, construction packages, and specificationsPreparing and coordinating planning, building regulations, and construction drawingsUndertaking measured surveys and translating survey data into accurate technical outputsManaging projects through technical stages, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are metCoordinating design information with external consultants, engineers, and contractorsEnsuring full compliance with current Building Regulations, standards, and legislationWorking across residential and commercial developmentsApplying knowledge of traditional and modern methods of construction, including timber and steel frameSupporting general project administration and technical documentationContributing positively to a collaborative and professional studio environment Desired Skills and Experience You will be a technically competent and proactive Architectural Technologist with proven experience delivering projects through the technical stages. Essential Requirements: Minimum 3+ years' experience in an Architectural Technologist or similar roleDegree in Architectural Technology or a related disciplineStrong capability in technical and construction drawingsProven experience managing multiple projects concurrentlySolid working knowledge of Building Regulations and construction standardsProficiency in AutoCAD and RevitExperience working on residential and/or commercial projectsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFull UK driving licenceRight to work in the United Kingdom Desirable: CIAT qualified or currently working towards CIAT accreditationExperience across a range of construction types and project sizes If you're ready to take the next step in your career, we'd love to hear from you.
