Job Overview: We are seeking a reliable and professional General Receptionist for a long-term temporary role, working Saturdays from 07:45 to 16:00. This front-of-house position is ideal for someone with excellent communication skills, a friendly and welcoming manner, and the ability to handle a variety of administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Greet visitors and staff in a professional and courteous manner
2. Answer incoming phone calls, direct them appropriately, and take accurate messages
3. Maintain a tidy and organized reception area
4. Manage sign-in/sign-out procedures for guests and staff
5. Handle general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and processing mail
6. Provide support to other departments as required
7. Follow all safeguarding, health and safety, and confidentiality protocols
Requirements:
8. Previous experience in a receptionist, customer service, or administrative role preferred
9. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
10. Professional appearance and demeanor
11. Basic IT skills (e.g. Microsoft Office, email systems)
