Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Widnes, Cheshire

We are recruiting on behalf of a first opinion practice in Widnes, Cheshire for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This role is full time for 40 hours per week over 4 days, along with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings from 9am to 12pm. Part time hours can be considered. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.

The role
13. The role offers a varied caseload with a mixture of consultations and surgeries
14. The role offers no OOH or on-call, ensuring a healthy work-life balance
15. The position offers the opportunity to provide mentoring and coaching to other vets within the practice

16. The practice is home to 7 vets, 7 RVNs and a supportive non-clinical team
17. They offer a wide range of modern veterinary services and diagnostics, including digital x-ray, ultrasound, 6 consult rooms, 2 theatres, an in-house laboratory and separate cat and dog wards

About you
27. You will have a good level of experience both in medicine and surgery

31. You will be a team player and be able to work in a collaborative manner
32. You will be confident in all areas of first opinion practice
33. You will have a certificate or be interested in pursuing one

34. Salary: Up to £63, per annum, commensurate to experience
