Job Overview
The Department of Gastroenterology/ Hepatology are appointing a Registrar (Senior Clinical Fellow) level doctor to support acute gastroenterology and Hepatology in patients at the Grange University Hospital. The post will be ward based with the opportunity to attend specialist outpatient clinics and observe inpatient endoscopy (there will be no formal endoscopy training associated with this post).
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will consolidate their existing skills and experience in medicine within a busy Gastroenterology department. Exposure to a wide range of Gastroenterology and Hepatology specific conditions will place them in an excellent position when applying for further training within the speciality.

Essential criteria
* Evidence of working effectively as a part of a multidisciplinary team
* Previous experience of working in the NHS or equivalent
* Experience in undertaking medical on calls including night shifts and weekends
* Experience in medicine to the equivalent of IMT sign off
* Independent in procedural skills at equivalent of UK IMT level
* Evidence that career progression is consistent with personal circumstances
