Reception Teaching Assistant - Turves Green, Northfield Start Date: 03/11/2025 | Full-Time | Temp-to-Perm Opportunity Location: Turves Green, Northfield, Birmingham Agency: Aspire People Aspire People is working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Turves Green, Northfield, to recruit a dedicated and experienced Reception Teaching Assistant. This is a full-time role starting on 3rd November 2025, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. The Role: * As a Reception TA, you will: * Support the class teacher in delivering a nurturing and engaging EYFS curriculum * Deliver Read Write Inc. phonics sessions confidently and effectively * Provide support for children with a range of needs, both 1:1 and in small groups * Assist with daily routines and help foster a safe, caring learning environment * Be comfortable providing personal care where required About You: * We are looking for someone who: * Has previous experience working in an EYFS setting, particularly Reception * Is familiar with and confident delivering the Read Write Inc. phonics programme * Is nurturing, patient, and committed to supporting early learning and development * Is happy to assist with personal care needs when required * Holds a relevant TA or EYFS qualification (Level 2 or 3 desirable) What We Offer: * A supportive, friendly school environment * Opportunity to become a permanent member of staff * Ongoing support from your Aspire People consultant * Competitive daily pay rates * Access to CPD and training opportunities If you're a committed and caring Reception TA with experience in Read Write Inc. and a passion for early years education, we would love to hear from you.
