A well-established Sussex law firm is now looking for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to take the lead in its Newhaven office. You'll inherit an existing client base, supported by nearby colleagues, and have the autonomy to grow the presence of the Private Client department in the area.
This is a chance to combine independence with support, running your own caseload, developing relationships in the community, and shaping the direction of the office as it continues to grow.
The Role
* Handle a broad range of Private Client work - Wills, Probate, LPAs, and Estate Administration
* Build strong, long-term client relationships and manage elderly client affairs with care and professionalism
* Take an active role in networking and business development within the local community
* Support and supervise junior team members as needed
* Contribute to the department's continued growth and success
About You
* Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with 3+ years' PQE in Private Client work
* Confident managing your own caseload and liaising directly with clients
* Empathetic, proactive, and detail-driven
* Comfortable networking and representing the firm locally
* Looking for a balance of autonomy, flexibility, and genuine impact

* Salary up to c£60,000 plus bonus scheme (individual and firmwide)
* Hybrid working - typically 3 days in the office, 2 from home after your first month
