You will join a busy and profitable TWI group with a diverse business portfolio including manufacture of specialist one-off jigs, fixtures, tooling, testing and welding machines.

You will work closely with other Technicians, Team leaders and Project Leaders carrying out complex machining operations to produce one off component parts and also the manufacture of test pieces extracted from a wide range components.

This role would suit a machinist or tool maker with skills in close tolerance CNC milling/turning operations. Experience of machining a wide variety of materials including plastics, titanium and super alloys to high tolerances would be an advantage.

You will have good experience of practical problem solving and be able to demonstrate your attention to detail when working to standards and procedures. Good IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office packages would be an advantage. You will be expected to work in accordance with current Health and Safety requirements and to high quality standards within tight deadlines.

You must have a track record in machining and hold a City and Guilds, BTEC level or equivalent in an engineering or related discipline and be able to demonstrate good interpersonal and organisational skills. You must be able to contribute to a multi-disciplinary team, be self-motivated and capable of working unsupervised.
