As a Senior Internal Auditor at Kingfisher, you’ll play a key role in helping our business thrive by identifying opportunities to improve controls, reduce risk, and enhance performance. You’ll work across our banners to deliver audits and advisory activities that support our purpose of making home improvement accessible for everyone. Lead and deliver audits and advisory activities across financial, operational, and technology areas, aligned to the Group Audit plan. Assess risks and controls in key processes, using data-driven techniques. Collaborate with senior stakeholders to agree actions that improve efficiency and reduce risk. Produce clear, concise reports for senior leadership and Board-level audiences. Support continuous improvement and innovation in audit methodology and tools. Share insights and best practices across the audit function and wider business. Build strong, consultative relationships across business. Proven experience in internal audit, ideally within a large, complex, multi-banner organisation. Strong understanding of financial, operational, Qualified accountant or auditor (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CMIIA, CISA), is preferred Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Comfortable working with large data sets and using data analysis tools.
